The Ponor is a small river in the Apuseni Mountains, Alba County, western Romania. It is a right tributary of the river Arieş. It flows through the municipalities Ponor and Sălciua, and joins the Arieş near the village Sălciua de Jos. It starts at the junction of headwaters Valea Bucurului and Valea Rece. Another tributary is the Valea Poienii.
